The
three areas I chose to discuss were: business & industry, military and
health care education. I had some
difficulty deciding how to present my thoughts so I created a graphic organizer
because these three fields are vastly different. This organizer helped me to
arrange my thoughts on how they are similar and different instead of trying to
type it out in paragraph form.

relation to how these areas are similar to my work situation. I believe time
and resource constraints are issues dealt with across the board. Each sector must come up with ways to pay for
training and someone to develop the training.
Another similarity is the cultural changes occurring around the
world. All areas must identify ways to
reach dissimilar audiences.
I agree with your post. I think that time, resources and cultural differences and changes are some of the issues we all deal with...basically in any area. It is funny that along with that each area can also be so different!!

ReplyDeleteI believe in all organizations developing cross-cultural media to train employees is one of the largest problems and costs with any technology for training. Organizations are being faced with the trends changing at such a rapid pace that developing training programs are usually outdated before it is fully operational and organizations are expanding their operations to include a world-wide market not just to the neighboring states in the US. Budget for ID is always at the forefront and programs that address an organizations' majority needs is usually not feasible. I really like the organizer you created. I wished I had done mine in the same way since I had such a hard time not only seeing the differences but also in writing it out to where it made more sense. Thanks for your post.
